David Norwood Founder and Executive Chairman of IP Group plc
Mr. Norwood is Executive Chairman of IP Group having founded the company in 2001. Mr. Norwood began his financial career as a foreign exchange trader with Bankers Trust and subsequently worked for both Duncan Lawrie and Williams de Broe where he financed both private and public technology companies. In 1999, he founded IndexIT, which specialised in providing strategic advice to early stage technology companies. IndexIT was acquired by Beeson Gregory, the London investment bank, in 2000 and Mr. Norwood joined the Beeson Gregory board for a time before originating Beeson Gregory’s £20 million partnership with the University of Oxford which led to the launch of IP Group.
Edgar Wallner

Mr Wallner has worked in the healthcare industry for over forty-five years. He has previously held a number of senior positions at EBI Medical Systems Inc., Hydron Europe Inc. and The Boots Company Ltd., where he was director of overseas companies operations. He recently retired as Vice Chairman of Orthofix International Inc., where he had previously been President and Chief Executive Officer for fourteen years. He is also a Director of medical companies Cozart Ltd. and Arrow Medical Ltd.

Mr. Fairservice has over thirty years of venture capital experience and built an outstanding track record while at Candover Investments plc, where he was with the company for twenty-two years before retiring in June 2006; BTG plc, where he was a Divisional Director responsible for technology investments; and 3i plc.

Mr. Thompson has a long and distinguished career in investment banking. He currently works at Citigroup where he is Vice Chairman, head of Continental Europe, Global Corporate and Investment Bank, and was previously Global Head of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank.
Roderick Orr

Mr. Orr is the founder and Managing Partner of Park Town Asset Management, a leading London based hedge fund. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of equity sales at Goldman Sachs. He has also been head of pan European research sales at Sanford C. Bernstein in their London office, opened and ran the European equity sales office in New York for Morgan Grenfell Securities, and was an executive director and head of equities at the independent equity research boutique Sutherlands Ltd.
Jacques Racloz

Mr. Racloz has enjoyed a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. He occupied senior positions in Sandoz Pharmaceuticals with over eight years as President of Sandoz Yakuhin in Japan before becoming CEO of Sandoz in the UK. In 1996, he was made responsible for the merger with Ciba Pharmaceuticals in the UK, becoming the first Novartis CEO in that country in March 1997. His business career has spanned corporate planning, research and development, production and marketing management over four continents. Since 1998, Mr. Racloz has been involved with numerous start-ups and early stage healthcare companies in the areas of biotechnology, delivery systems, communications and distribution.

Mr. Winkler is the owner and CEO of Saitek Ltd, a world leading designer and manufacturer of electronic games, gaming peripherals and computer accessories, which he founded in 1979 having developed the first non-US dedicated chess computer in 1978. Saitek has operations all over the world including a wholly owned manufacturing plant in Shenzhen, China.
Kenneth Mulvany
CEO of Proximagen plc
Mr. Mulvany is currently CEO of a publicly listed biotechnology company which he has led from its formation in 2003. He began his career as a medical doctor before founding WebMD, one of the leading internet companies in the world. Following this success, Mr. Mulvany founded and managed the Strategum Group, a venture capital business based in San Francisco, which invested in a number of successful hi-tech start-ups. He sold Strategum to a leading venture capital firm in 2005.
